by Suzanne Licata

Curry Real Estate Services is excited to announce that its update to the Shops at Kendallwood, a neighborhood center located at 6049 Northeast Antioch Road in Gladstone, Missouri, is now complete. The center built in 1987 is 100 percent occupied and comprised of nine thriving business including Applebee’s, VTL Nails & Spa, Subway, Ultra Shears Beauty Salon, Action Sports, Asian Arts Company and Island Tan.

“As a family-owned business, we believe in investing in our community, and the upgrade to the Shops at Kendallwood is just one example of that,” Jim Hogan, vice president in Curry’s commercial real estate division. “In the last five years, Curry also has updated its headquarters, the Kendallwood office building, Kendallwood Apartments and Antioch Annex, all just a few blocks from the Shops at Kendallwood.”

Hogan is hopeful that the Shops at Kendallwood’s newly updated exterior, combined with its highly-visible location and excellent traffic flow will drive additional customers to the center.

“This area’s population is expected to grow by six percent in the coming years, so it is imperative that we invest in the center now,” said Hogan.

Zipco and AMAI Architecture were Curry Real Estate Service’s contractor and architectural partners on the project.
