Curry Real Estate Services Staff Gives Back to the Kansas City Community
Curry associates recently participated in a volunteer day at Harvesters, Kansas City’s only area food bank. Associates worked at the Volunteer Outreach Center where they packed frozen food into boxes for distribution to the more than 620 nonprofit agencies in the Harvesters network.
Through this network, Harvesters is able to offer emergency food assistance to as many as 66,000 people as week.
Harvesters is a charity that Curry Real Estate Services has supported through the years.
“It’s important to have a day like this because it raises our own group’s awareness of how many people in our community are living without enough to eat,” said Ellen Todd, Curry President.
“The work Harvester’s does is critical to the Kansas City area so it’s great to see our associates getting out and helping to make a real difference.”
