Curry Real Estate Services invests continually to make a difference in it’s communities and has since its founding in 1924. While individual Curry team members and groups involve themselves in multiple causes throughout the area, the company recently has committed its efforts to the following organizations or events:
Employees from Curry Real Estate Services, a full-service commercial real estate broker and property management company, recently donated their time and resources to prepare, landscape and completely makeover the outdoor space for spring at SafeHaven, Synergy Services’ domestic violence shelter.
More than 35 Curry employees traded in their suits and briefcases for shovels and power tools as they spent their work day on tasks ranging from outdoor maintenance to yard beautification enhancement projects. Employees removed dead trees and debris from the property, mulched, planted flowers, weeded the garden, fixed fences, painted a fire lane and moved in new patio tables, chairs and benches for shelter guests. The result of nearly 100 hours of combined donated time was a completely overhauled outdoor space.
The Harvest Ball is the Harvest Ball Society’s annual fundraiser that takes place in November. Most recently, Curry Real Estate Services served as a table sponsor for the event while Ellen Todd, president, worked on the planning committee. The Harvest Ball Society is the largest not-for-profit organization devoted to raising funds for charities serving the Northland.
